the patient has left whole leg swelling, from the foot up to the thigh..(ddx - vascular : venous-DVT, arterial-acute limb ischaemia, rupture of mycotic aneurysm lymphatics-lymphedema, infection: cellulitis, necrotizing fascitis, trauma: compartment syndrome, tumour: any tumour that is obstructing the venous return of the left leg )
owh, and the patient is an IVDU (drug-abuse)..and he is a fisherman...
masa tu, disebabkan terlalu ramai students, not all of us dpt dgr apa yg prof cakap...
so, apa yg kami dpt dgr, kami convey la kpd kawan2 kat sebelah...
masa tu, sam was beside me...
i heard the pt said that almost 90% of the fishermen are IVDU...
and sam pun dgr the same thing...tp yg kelakar nye adalah statement sam slpas itu..
"90% nelayan IVDU..?dah lepas ni jgn makan ikan u olls.."
(sori, we have this fascination towards saying u olls dgn gaya mengada...)

ada ke patut jangan makan ikan sbb 90% of the fishermen are IVDU...?
bukannya mereka mencucuk2 drugs ke dalam ikan2 itu :P haha
