Makanye, saya dh start di-upgrade (la kononnye) utk jd resus...

Apa keja resus..?
Resus is the one yg akan trima semua referral + standby dpd labor room..
Referral contohnya, bby of mom with hyper/hypothyroid, bby of mom leaking >24H, bby of mom unbook unscreen ke, bby of any abnormality eg ?spinal bifida ke,syndromic bby etc.
There is a whole.long list of referral criteria in the nursery..i havent managed to memorize it yet.. (dont think i will..haha)
Standby is when bby is bradycardic and the o&g team wants to do instrumental vginal delivery ka, abnormal ctg going for lscs ka, prem in labour ka,iugr with abnormal ctg going to lscs ka or etc,etc..
So...
Crita about being a resus for the 1st time..

Dpd pg (7am) sampai pkul 1130am, langsung uneventful..xde pape referral mahupun standby..
But...............
Selepas itu, call dpd labour room dtg bertubi2...
Bayangkan..
My 1st standby was for bby bradycardic plus poor maternal effort, so the O&G team wanted to do vacuum..haha..baby tu keluar berkepala 'corn head'..
Then masa kemas2 brg and bru je letak T-piece tuh, dpt lg call for standby!! For the same reason!!
Vacuum with indication-bby bradycardic with poor maternal effort..
What??!! I was like, i shouldnt jejakkan kaki ke sana kerana i was a jonnah when i was in labour room before this..
And then the referrals dtg secara mencurah......
